Appointments

Please telephone the surgery after 10.00am for a routine appointment; please do not ring between 8.00 and 10.00am for a routine appointment as the phone lines are very busy due to emergency/same day appointments.

The surgery now offers booked appointments two weeks in advance.

Should your condition require an emergency appointment, please ring the surgery before 10.00am for a same day appointment.

Telephone Triage

All appointments are to be triaged via the telephone; if you ring to book an appointment you will be placed on the GP’s telephone call back screen.

The GP will call you and make a decision if you need to be seen as a Face to Face appointment or he/she may be able to deal with your query/condition over the phone.

Please ring after 10.00am and leave a message for the doctor on call.

Cancel My Appointment?

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please ring the surgery as soon as possible to cancel it; this can be done on the phone.

This will help the surgery to offer your appointment to other patients who desperately need it.

This also improves access to appointments to all patients and it significantly reduces waiting time for getting a routine appointment.

The surgery would appreciate your co-operation.

Online Services

You can now book your appointments online.

You will need to contact reception first to sign up to use this service; please bring photographic ID and proof of address (e.g utility bill) with you.

Interpreting and Translation Support

The Practice has a professional translating service to offer translation for patients whose first language is not English.

The service can also provide a BSL interpreter to provide sign language for patients with hearing difficulties.

Please advise Reception when making an appointment that you require this support, so this can be arranged for your appointment.
