Total Triage
Changes to Appointments
Exciting news! From 29th September 2025 Green Street Green Medical Centre will be moving to a total triage model where all appointment requests will be made via our online consultation service Accurx. If you are unable to access the internet, you can also contact reception and they will complete an online consultation on your behalf. All online requests will be reviewed by an experienced GP. This change aims to reduce the “8am rush” and ensure patients get the most appropriate care. To find out what this means for you, please view the document below or ask reception for a leaflet. Reception can also answer any questions that you might have. We aim to respond to all requests within 2 working days, if you don’t hear from us, you should ring reception on 01689 850012. If you feel your request is urgent and haven’t received a response by 5pm on the day of your request, please contact reception.
Nursing Appointments
If you need to book routine nursing appointments you can book these via reception or some are directly bookable via the NHS app. Please do not submit online requests for these appointments. Never use this for an emergency, instead call 999.
Routine or Follow-up Appointments
All appointment requests, other than nursing or diabetic foot check appointments, need to be sent via the Accurx online system or our reception team can complete one on your behalf.
